HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 23, 2024) – Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies and other first responders had to deal with a stabbing incident just east of the Holland city limits on Tuesday morning before inclement weather descended upon the Lakeshore.
Sheriff’s Detective Sergeant Jeremy Baum was among those who were called to a residence off of Lane Avenue and East 16th Street just before 2 AM. That was where a 29-year-old Zeeland Township man had been stabbed during an apparently altercation with a 41-year-old Holland Township man, who was known by the victim.
The wounds suffered were not considered life-threatening, and the victim was taken to an undisclosed area hospital for treatment, while the alleged assailant was taken into custody.
