Virginia (Ginny) Ann Klomparens-Wasky passed away on January 13, 2024, in Holland, Michigan, at the age of 91. She was born on April 22, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio to John and Lillian Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lillian Taylor, husbands Marvin Klomparens and John Wasky, her brothers John Taylor Jr., Chip Hardy, and her sisters, Joyce Brinks, Dora Novak, Sharon Taylor, Mary Kimber, grandson Michael Klomparens, and great granddaughter Jamie White. Virginia is survived by her four children, Kathy Hossink, Dan Klomparens (Cindy), Darc Klomparens (Karen), Carol Miller, brother Dennis Taylor of TN, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
While raising her children she served as the president of the Lincoln Elementary School P.T.A. where she organized numerous fundraisers. Additionally, she was a Blue Bird and Camp Fire Girls leader for many years. She also taught bible school for three years. She loved having slumber parties for her grandchildren and playing canasta with family and friends.
In 1971, Virginia became the proud owner and operator of the “Old North End,” a business she successfully managed for 9 years until she retired to be her husband’s caretaker. After Marv’s death she moved to Lake Worth, Fl. and ran the recreation center for the City of Lake Worth. She loved organizing activities such as shuffleboard, card games, art classes, and bus tours.
Virginia Ann Klomparens-Wasky leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service for Virginia Ann Klomparens-Wasky will be held at a later date at Dykstra Funeral Home in Holland, Michigan.
