UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 17, 2024) – Last night, inclement weather forced nearly all high school basketball games involving Lakeshore schools to be postponed. The only contests played were at West Ottawa High, where the Panthers swept a doubleheader from visiting Jenison by scores of 65-63 for the boys and 66-42 for the girls.
This evening, Saugatuck’s boys hope to compete at Eau Claire, while Black River wants to be at Gobles for a girls/boys doubleheader – all depending on weather conditions. On Friday night at 5:40 PM – we hope – you could hear the Hamilton-Holland Christian doubleheader from the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place on 99 7/1450 WHTC, or the Saugatuck at Black River twin bill on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van.
