A dedicated laborer, William spent an impressive 34 years at LifeSavers, where he poured his heart and soul into his work. William’s strong work ethic and determination served as a testament to his perseverance and commitment.
Beyond his professional life, William had a passion for deer hunting that he carried with him throughout his years. The thrill of the chase and the beauty of nature captured his heart and brought him immense joy.
William will be dearly missed by Marilyn, his loving spouse of many years, his adoring son William Jr. and Barbara Moomey, his cherished daughter Christina and Steve Essenburgh, sisters-in-law: Linda Moomey, Georgene Lawson, and brother-in-law, Earnest Dyer; as well as many nieces and nephews.
While no formal services are planned, the family kindly requests that friends and relatives take a moment to remember William and celebrate his life in their own special way.
May William James Moomey’s vibrant spirit and lasting legacy continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Condolences may be left online at www.yntemafh.com.
Hello, my name is Lizz Evans. I worked for years in Payroll at Planters LifeSavers Company and there were no hourly employees that I met and interacted with that didn’t become my friends. Bill was no trouble and we knew him to be a very hard worker. I am saddened to hear of his passing and wanted his family to know there were so many of us former LifeSavers workers who will miss him and please accept my most sincere Condolences. My prayers will be for your strength and comfort. We will see each other again. Be encouraged. Lizz Evans, Las Vegas, Nevada
