ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 29, 2023) – Millions will be watching the ball drop from Times Square in New York City on Sunday night to usher in a New Year, but far fewer will be watching a different type of drop in Zeeland on Saturday afternoon.
It will be a reenactment of what some high school students believe is a scourge as the Zeeland Museum holds its annual Egg Drop at the Dekker Huis Museum (37 E. Main Ave.). Executive Director Katelyn VerMerris explains.
No prizes are to be awarded, but there will be hot chocolate and cookies served.
