Virginia R. Van Wieren, age 99, of Holland, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Fremont, MI.
Virginia graduated from Holland High School in 1942 and worked at Life Savers, Inc. as a Production Secretary for 15 years. She loved to paint and enjoyed growing flowers in her garden. Virginia was also an accomplished knitter, making Afghan blankets for all of her children and grandchildren, as well as many other family members. She was a good friend to many and attended Central Wesleyan Church.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1998; an infant daughter, Vicky, in 1950; and all her siblings and in-laws.

Visitation is scheduled for 1:00pm Saturday, December 9 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm. Pastor Mary DeWitt will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Corewell Hospice and the Association for the Blind. Condolences may be left online at www.langelandsterenberg.com.
