FENNVILLE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 24, 2023) – Voters in two municipalities along the Lakeshore will need to have a sharp pencil and do some homework before casting ballots two weeks from today, November 7th.
There will be no names listed in the municipal election ballot for both Fennville and Ferrysburg due to clerical errors. Ottawa County Clerk Justin Roebuck explained what happened in Ferrysburg.
It was a different issue in Fennville, according to Allegan County Clerk Bob Genetski.
There are some rules you have to follow if you are voting for a write-in candidate.
If the candidate’s name is tough to spell, no problem.
Those wishing to get write-in votes have until this Friday afternoon to submit proper paperwork with the local clerk’s office.
