Mary Terpsma, age 95, of Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Mary was a member of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church and formerly of Bethany Christian Reformed Church. Mary was a woman of deep faith, had a kind and gentle spirit, and maintained an optimistic attitude towards life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary enjoyed her many years at Ottawa Savings and Loan, as she was appreciated by customers for her friendly and positive personality. Mary enjoyed winters with her husband Peter, at their second home in Parrish, Florida, where they had many special friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Peter in December 2017 and was also preceded in death by her son Peter in April, 2017.
Mary is survived by her sons, David Terpsma of Grand Rapids, Daniel (Jessica) Terpsma of Naples, Florida; daughter-in-law, Sally Terpsma of Rotunda West, Florida; grandchildren, Michelle Wright, Rachel (Tony) Thampan, Elizabeth (Ted) Mosies, Jeremy (Melissa) Terpsma, Matthew (Keiko) Terpsma, Eric (Holly) Terpsma, Stacy Terpsma, Allyson Terpsma; great grandchildren, Sean, Gabriela, Caleb, Anna, Mac, Jeremy, Samantha, Isaiah; special niece, Wilma Terpsma.
Special thanks for the wonderful and compassionate care provided by caregivers at Appledorn Assisted Living and Hospice of Holland. A private family funeral service will be held.
