JAMESTOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 22, 2023) – Four persons were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the far southeastern corner of Ottawa County on Saturday night.
According to Sheriff’s Lieutenant Nicholas Knott, first responders were dispatched to the intersection of Ottagan Street and 8th Avenue around 9:20 PM. That was where a northbound SUV apparently drove through a stop sign and collided with a westbound sedan. A 17-year-old Grand Rapids woman driving the SUV, along with an 18-year-old Grand Rapids man as her passenger, went to an undisclosed hospital; a 52-year-old Dorr woman driving the sedan, along with a 52-year-old Dorr man as her passenger, were taken to U-M Health West for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
