Hope College’s Liam Casey has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men’s Golfer of the Week.
The sophomore from Northville, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central HS) is receiving the honor for the first time this season and the fourth time in his career.
Casey carded a 1-under-par 71 at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall on Wednesday during the final MIAA fall jamboree of the season.
While sharing medalist honors, Casey helped the Flying Dutchmen record a winning total of 299 and extend their lead in the season standings by four strokes.
