LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 5, 2023) – A tech company that uses social media and online search engines to provide full-service capabilities for the insurance and legal defense industries is headed to the Lakeshore, thanks to a little help from Lansing.
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced on Thursday that a $225,000 Micro Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant has been awarded to Fraud Sniffr, Incorporated. The firm will create 45 remote tech jobs when it moves its operations from Baltimore to the Grand Haven area, investing $585,000 in the effort to tap into the state’s experienced, high-tech workforce and educational resources.
The MMBDP grant is among five overall issued this week from the MEDC’s Michigan Strategic Fund that will help spur around $153 million in capital investment and create 236 new high-tech jobs.
