PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 5, 2023) – A 33-year-old Holland man lost his life in a Monday morning crash on Holland’s North Side.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Brad Bennett didn’t immediately disclose the motorist’s name after the single-vehicle wreck off of Riley Street between 152nd and 160th avenues around 11 AM. The investigation into the matter initially disclosed that the driver was heading eastbound when the vehicle veered to the right, went off of the roadway, and collided with a tree. Rescuers had to extricate the man out of the vehicle, and attempts to revive him at the scene were unsuccessful.
Bennett also didn’t go into any of the circumstances that led to the vehicle leaving the roadway, as the incident remains under investigation. Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Ottawa County Silent Observer (877-887-4536).
