Lee Schuitema, age 83 of West Olive, formerly of Zeeland passed away Tuesday, October 03, 2023.
He is survived by his wife Sandra; his children: Ed and Patti Schuitema, Karen and Craig Vander Heide, and Scott and Ronald Schuitema; his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Erica Marie Schuitema (Maverick and Noah), Amy Nicole Mc Williams (Liam); and Garrett Vander Heide; and his sisters Bonnie Schuitema and Clover Alderink.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Edna Schuitema.
Lee worked as a milkman, welder, bus driver and retired as shop foreman at Midwest Fab. He was active at the state level of 4H, he was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader and enjoyed racing horses in the Gym Khana Speed Shows.
A time of visitation will be from 1-3 pm Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. Memorial contributions may be given to North Ottawa Hospice. www.yntemafh.com
