Rodney Jones, age 75, of Holland, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023.
Rodney was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. His family, church community, and neighbors will remember his servant’s heart and desire to help others.
Rodney is survived by his children: Rodney (Mary Jo) Jones Jr., Tony (Tammy) Jones, Julie (Reed) Koops; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings: James Jones, Teddy (Donna) Jones, Patrick Jones, and Audrey (Ed) Hislop.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur & Bernice (Cholewa) Jones; brother, Dennis Jones; sister, Mary Ellen; and sister-in-law, Sheila Jones.
Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland. Within the visitation, a time of sharing and remembrances will take place at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 480 152nd Avenue, Holland. Family will receive visitors an hour prior to the start of Mass on Friday. Burial will be in Port Sheldon Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
