DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – President Biden is sending a team to Detroit in an effort to resolve the strike between the United Auto Workers union and the Big Three automakers.
The union went on strike last week demanding better pay and benefits. White House adviser Gene Sperling and acting Labor Secretary Julie Su are expected to help support talks early this week.
The two sides reportedly remain far apart.
