Jack was a member of Overisel Reformed Church and served in the Military in the Army Reserves. He taught at Saugatuck Public Schools for 30 years and enjoyed coaching Varsity Football during his time there. Jack was a diehard Michigan State fan and enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting with his buddies. He is now reunited with his parents: Justin & Jennie (Arendsen) Lampen.
Jack is survived by his sister, Ann (Jack) Eding; nieces and nephews: Carie (Tim) Sneller, Corey Eding, Christie (Kevin) Klaasen; great nieces: Katlyn, Kylie, Cami, Sabrie, Jordyn, Braelyn, and great nephew: Camdyn.
A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Overisel Reformed Church, 4706 142nd Avenue, Holland. A funeral service, with Rev. Ken Kleinheksel officiating, will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 also at the church. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Overisel Reformed Church.
