CASCADE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 8, 2023) – Three men from the Lakeshore were among eight persons arrested last week on sex trafficking charges in the Grand Rapids area.
Last Thursday, Kent County Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Kent Area Narcotics Team culminated an undercover investigation with a bust at an unnamed hotel. The unnamed suspects, which included a 42-year-old Holland man, a 42-year-old Allendale man, and a 23-year-old Coopersville man, were allegedly involved in a prostitution ring that ran along the 28th Street (M-11) corridor in Cascade. The others came from the Grand Rapids area, along with one person from Angola, Indiana, and were charged with counts of using a computer to commit a crime and solicitation for prostitution.
No other details were immediately disclosed by the sheriff’s office as the matter remains under investigation.
