GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 8, 2023) – A 17-year-old Allendale woman was hospitalized in a single-vehicle crash between Hudsonville and Allendale on Monday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Jon Knott, the unnamed motorist was driving her vehicle westbound on Fillmore Street around 2:15 PM when it drifted across the center line near 36th Avenue, struck a ditch, rolled over several times, and landed on its side. The driver was taken to Corewell Health-DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Knott did not go into specifics as to what led the woman’s vehicle to drift across the center line as the incident remains under investigation.
