With deepest sorrow, we announce that David Solis (El Tio), age 40, our beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, has passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 while at home.
Those who knew David also knew that he was full of humor and could always put a smile on everyone’s face, even on a cloudy day. David always joked around, even when facing pain he had to deal with on a daily basis. Whether poking fun at his siblings or nieces and nephews, there was never a dull moment when David was around.
David enjoyed watching sports (Go Blue! Go Cowboys!), and having fun planning get-togethers at his mom’s house. Whether for a cookout, birthday party, or even a boxing match on PPV, David loved to gather people together.
But above all, David was devoted to his faith in God, family, friends, and helping those in need. He shared the message of Jesus Christ with all he came across.
David will be missed everyday by his father Fidel Solis, his mother Maria Estrada, and step-father Marcel Estrada. He will be missed by his sister Maria Morgan, brother Eddie Solis, sister Hilda Solis, and brother Jorge Solis. His loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many great friends will also miss him.
We know David is now with all his grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles who have gone before him, and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

A visitation for David will be held on Sunday, July 30 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Resurrection Life Church – 1006 Washington Ave. Holland, MI 49423. A private family burial will take place.
