HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 23, 2023) – What could Holland look like by the end of the decade?
One can get a glimpse of what city officials may be considering as a new draft of a Master Plan will be available for public viewing. Last Wednesday, Fourth Ward representative Nicki Arendshorst and her fellow City Council members approved a proposal from the Planning Commission for public distribution of this conceptual blueprint that includes an updated Future Land Use Map, a Washington Square Vision Plan, updated goals and action items, a Historic Preservation chapter, and a Neighborhood Improvement Committee Blueprint.
There will be a public hearing on the Master Plan on October 10th before a final vote for adoption by the City Council on October 18th. A dedicated link to the proposed document should be available on the city’s website this week, but an online link to that document is available now in this story at WHTC-dot-com.
