HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 20, 2023) – Planning ahead is part of the agenda for Thursday night’s Holland Charter Township Board meeting.
Highlighting the agenda is consideration of a proposed six-year Capital Improvement Plan, covering the years 2024 through 2029. According to Township Finance Director Doug Kuiper, this is “not a budgetary authorization to expend funds,” but “provides the opportunity to identify and prioritize future capital projects and consider options for financing such projects…not all projects’ funding or financing options have been identified at this time.”
While the plan is subject to annual review and updating, Kuiper is basing the document on an anticipated average estimated capital spending of $7.9 million for general operations and $8.3 mill for water and sewer purposes.
This Board meeting begins at 7 PM in the Holland Charter Township Offices (353 120th Avenue).
