The Hope College women’s track and field team has earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2022-23 school year from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
In addition, 11 individual student-athletes from the 2023 MIAA indoor and outdoor champion Flying Dutch are USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes: recent graduates Grace Behrens, Helen Dodge, Ellie Jankowski, Samantha Schermerhorn, Julie Timperman and Ana Tucker, junior Erin Moran, sophomore Greta Robrahn, and freshmen Sara Schermerhorn, Ava Schmidt and Madison Stern.
Behrens (Mishawaka, Indiana / Trinity School at Greenlawn) majored in environmental science.
Dodge (Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan / Grosse Pointe South) majored in biology.
Jankowski (Granger, Indiana / Penn) majored in business and communication.
Samantha Schermerhorn (Traverse City, Michigan / Traverse City West) majored in public accounting and business.
Timperman (Lafayette, Indiana / Faith Christian) majored in computer engineering.
Tucker (Midland, Michigan / H.H. Dow) majored in exercise science.
Moran (Arlington Heights, Illinois / John Hersey) majors in psychology and social studies education.
Robrahn (Zeeland, Michigan / Zeeland East) majors in physical and health education.
Sara Schermerhorn is from Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City West). Schmidt and Stern are from Saline, Michigan (Saline).
