Janice Saylor was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, her lord and savior on June 18th, 2023, at the age of 74.
She was born in Bonnie Blue, Virginia on June 30th, 1948. Janice moved to Holland, MI in 1960 with her family. Janice married her husband Wayne Saylor the love of her life September 18th, 1965. Janice worked in Holland for many years and retired from JCI in 2011.
Janice had two children, a son Curtis and daughter Tammy. She had seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Janice loved her family; she was the family’s anchor. Her life always revolved around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The family loved coming over to enjoy fondue dinner. Janice was a very kind, patient, loving, Godley Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents Hershel and Elsie Burnett and sister Eudena.
Survivors include her loving husband, Wayne; Son Curtis (Tracy) Saylor of Allegan; Daughter Tammy (Chris) Mohrland of Otsego; Seven Grandchildren Ashley (Tom) Reber of Switzerland; Jessica (Ryan) Simonson of Jenison; Brandon Saylor of Allegan; Kassie (Ryan) Herold of Allegan; Alicia Saylor (Adam) of Oxford; Magen (Collin) Warner of Otsego, Villas Morhland (Molly) of Otsego; and 10 Great Grandchildren. Her loving sister Rosalind Feddick of Holland and Brother Larry Burnett of Tuscon, AZ. As well as her brother and sister laws and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday (June 23) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, with Pastor Ron Saylor officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 pm Thursday (June 22) also at the funeral home.
