LAKETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 21, 2023) – The Thursdays at the Felt Summer Concert Series opens July 6 with the Kevin McDaniel House Band at the Carriage House Stage, 6595 138 th Ave. in Laketown Township. Admission is free. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Food and drink service begins at 6 p.m. The music starts at 7 p.m. Food vendor is Pizza Parliament, craft beers by New Holland Brewing and wines by Fenn Valley Vineyards
No outside drinks but outside food is permitted. Coolers and bags will be checked. No pets except registered service dogs. In case of inclement weather, cancellation will be announced by 5 p.m. via email and website, www.feltmansion.org/current-events
A staple in the West Michigan music scene, McDaniel and his band are known for their unique blend of classic oldies. McDaniel is a Gary, Ind., native who grew up around and worked in the city’s steel industry. Now a South Haven resident, McDaniel is a working musician with a well-crafted repertoire who performs as a solo artist, in duos, and in bands in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. This is the first time the Kevin McDaniel House Band has performed at the Felt Estate.
