In the USFL last night, the Panthers defeated the visiting Philadelphia Stars at Ford Field in Detroit, 23-20. Although Michigan finishes the season with a 4-6 record, it still made the playoffs, and will face the Pittsburgh Maulers in a semifinal game at Canton this Saturday evening.
