Olivia was a fearless woman of God. Beyond this distinction, however, she was a woman of great compassion and honesty. She was a woman of deep faith in her Lord, a love only exceeded by the passion she held for her family. Olivia left a mark on her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and anyone who was honored to meet her.
Olivia was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ramon Rios Sr. in 1997; son, Ramon Rios Jr. in 2022; parents, Ramon and Guadalupe Gayton; and her beloved baby sister, Claudia Ruiz in 2020.
She is survived by her children, Naomi (Oscar) Mares, William (Cris) Rios, Morris (Claudia) Rios, Angel (Sarai) Rios; niece, Renae Torres Mares; nephew, Raymon Gayton (Gordo); 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Ramon (Vicky) Gayton.
Visitation with the family is 10:00-Noon on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Ebenezer Spanish Assemblies of God, 157 West 10th St. Holland, MI 49423.
Funeral services are at Noon on the same day at the church.
Burial to take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Olivia’s honor may be given to Ebenezer Spanish Assemblies of God.
