ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 8, 2023) – The streets of downtown Zeeland will be taken over by two-wheeled bicycles instead of four-wheeled motor vehicles on Friday night.
The ninth annual twilight Criterium begins at 5:30 PM with a free kids race for youths 12 and under, with separate category races to follow, as the competitors will look to complete a sharp-curved, half-mile-long course for several miles at top speeds.
It’s quite something to see, according to Zeeland Mayor Kevin Klynstra.
There will be awards following each race in a nearby park, and an online link to registration for competitors is here.
