COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 18, 2023) – A 55-year-old Sparta woman was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Coopersville on Thursday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Rick Sykes, the woman was westbound on Randall Street just before 2 PM when she apparently drove through a four-way stop sign at 64th Avenue and collided with a southbound vehicle that had halted and then moved forward. The at-fault motorist was taken to an “area hospital” in stable condition, while the other driver, a 61-year-old Coopersville woman, was not hurt.
No names were disclosed as the crash remains under investigation.
