HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 1, 2023) – A 28-year-old Holland man lost his life on Friday evening after a sedan turned in front of his motorcycle on Holland’s North Side.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chris Koster didn’t immediately disclose any names after the collision on Riley Street at 132nd Avenue around 5:45 PM. It appears that the man was eastbound on Riley when the sedan turned in front of him, attempting to head south on 132nd. The motorcyclist died at the scene, while a 64-year-old Holland man riding in the automobile was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car, a 68-year-old Holland woman, and a 34-year-old Holland man who was also a passenger in that vehicle, were not hurt.
The incident remains under investigation.
