GRAND HAVEN TWP. MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 23, 2023) – Five persons were injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Grand Haven on Sunday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Matt Wildfong, an eastbound van on Ferris Street apparently drove through a stop sign on 152nd Avenue shortly before 2 PM and struck a southbound pickup truck. Two persons in the van, a 70-year-old Grand Haven man driving the vehicle and his 71-year-old wife, were hospitalized, while three person, also from Grand Haven, in the pickup truck – a 65-year-old man driving the vehicle, and two women passenger, aged 65 and 30, were also hurt.
None of the motorists were identified, and Wildfong would only say that none of the injuries were considered life-threatening, as the incident remains under investigation.
