Rick Lee Dykstra, age 65, went to his new home with the Lord unexpectedly in the early morning of March 27, 2023.
Rick was born on January 1, 1958, to Doug and Arloa Dykstra. Before his accident in 1978, Rick worked at Russ’ North and Herman Miller. Rick enjoyed cars and always had a smile on his face. He will be remembered fondly for his love of laughter and playful personality.
Rick was preceded in death by his Grandparents.
Rick is survived by his parents Doug and Arloa Dykstra; brother Mark (Liz) Dykstra of Arizona; sister LuAnn (Tom) Barkel of Georgia; sister Sally (Mark) DeGraaf of Michigan; and sister Sarah Berends of Michigan. Rick is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Rick’s life will take place at Lakeshore Memorial Services – 11939 James St. Holland, MI 49424. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1 from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM. A private burial will take place.
