Karl R. Ellerbroek Jr. age 56, of Holland, died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home following a lifelong battle with diabetes.
He was a member of Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church and graduated from Holland Christian High School. He worked with his father for many years at Hollandia Gardens.
Karl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Libby” in 2019.
He is survived by his children and grandson, Sam Ellerbroek, Nathan and Nicki Ellerbroek (Mac), Adrianne Ellerbroek; parents, Karl Sr. and Adele Ellerbroek; siblings, Connie and Nate Dreyer, Kelly and Lori Ellerbroek, Kevin and Jill Ellerbroek.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 259 Central Ave. Holland with Rev. Chad Steenwyk officiating. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-3:15 prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
