HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 23, 2023) – It’s another sign of putting the COVID 19 outbreak in the rear view mirror three years on.
On Wednesday, the Ottawa County Department of Public Health announced that it is closing its community testing sites for this novel coronavirus. This Saturday, the Holland location (515 Waverly Road) ends this service, while the Hudsonville location (3100 Port Sheldon Street) halts its tests next Thursday, March 30th.
The agency will still have a free test-and-go kiosk at the Byker Library in Hudsonville (3338 Van Buren Street), while officials say that residents can get free at-home tests at participating local libraries through the state Department of Health and Human Services, or online at COVID-dot-gov or access-COVID-tests-dot-org.
The Allegan County Health Department will continue to distribute free at-home tests, while supplies last, at the county’s transportation building in Allegan (750 Airway Drive), weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a two-box limit per person.
