In Oshkosh, Will Mahoney had 23 points, while Evan Thomas missed a jumper at the buzzer, as host Wisconsin-Oshkosh held off the visiting Flying Dutchmen, 51-50. Hope finishes the season at 20-10.
At DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland, Sara Faber had 16 points as visiting Wartburg stifled the Flying Dutch, 81-67. Hope finishes the season at 26-3.

Grand Valley State’s women advanced in the GLIAC basketball tournament as Emily Spitzley scored 19 points in a 87-48 win over visiting Saginaw Valley State during a Saturday afternoon semifinal. The Lakers will host Michigan Tech, a 68-57 winner over Ferris State, for the conference title and the NCAA Division II tournament automatic berth on Sunday afternoon at the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale.
Marcus Tomashek had 22 points as Michigan Tech ended the Grand Valley State men’s season with a 73-69 triumph in a GLIAC basketball tournament semifinal on Saturday evening at Big Rapids. The Lakers finished with an 18-12 record.
