HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 7, 2023) – A precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued for nine customers on Legion Park Dr. after a water main break occurred on February 6th at 12 p.m. in the vicinity of Legion Park Dr. and Country Club Rd. The advisory is in effect for the following addresses:

- 1131 Legion Park Dr.
- 1132 Legion Park Dr.
- 1139 Legion Park Dr.

The main break has been repaired, however, the repair required depressurizing a section of water main which can allow bacteria to enter the system. Because of this, a boil water advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure until water samples from the area confirm that the water is safe for consumption.
The customers have been notified and received instructions from Holland BPW. They will also be notified when Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
Everyone in the affected area should boil water for two minutes before consuming, making ice, or brushing teeth. It is safe to bathe in the water without boiling.
