Larry Geuder, age 70, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023.
Larry was born on April 27, 1952, to Lawrence and Grace Geuder. He was employed for nearly 30 years at the Holland Police Department and loved serving and helping. He retired in 2002.
After retiring, he enjoyed another career of teaching driver’s education to many young people. His interests were leading worship music in many places including church and recovery ministries. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, music, and playing his guitar.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence and Grace Geuder; and father-in-law, Ivan Compagner.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Geuder; son, Mark and Jenny Geuder (Evan & Henry); daughter, Lori and Scott DeVisser (Isaac and Levi); daughter, Beth and Dan Vredevoogd (Samuel, Lucas, Elise); sisters, Joan and Jeff Stuttman, Barb Fehlig; brother, Jim and Theresa Geuder; mother-in-law, Beverly Compagner; sister-in-law, LeeAnn and Gary Was; brother-in-law, John and Lynae Compagner; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family is 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 49423.
Memorial services are 10:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch St. Zeeland, MI 49464.
Memorial contributions in Larry’s honor may be given to Hospice of Holland which served Larry and his family so very well.
