Marcia Immink, age 80, passed away on Saturday, January 21st.
Marcia was born to Harold “Hud” and Lucinda Osterink on February 23, 1942. She graduated from Holland High School and Hope College, received her Master’s degree from MSU, and taught at Bauer Elementary in Hudsonville.
Marcia is survived by her husband Earle; children Melissa (Ryan) Harmsen, Darin (Jody) Immink, Christine (John) Andersen, and Dirk Immink; grandchildren James, Victoria, and Ethan; and her sister Carole Osterink of Hudson NY.
Marcia enjoyed camping with the family at Cran-Hill Ranch and Charles Mears State Park, attending Hope College athletics, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday (January 27), at Overisel Reformed Church, 4706 142nd Avenue. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday (January 26) also at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Overisel Reformed Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
