Elizabeth Ann Bussies, age 95, passed Wednesday, January 18, 2023
Betty was born on April 6, 1927, in Holland, MI. She graduated from Holland High School in 1945 and St. Mary’s School of Nursing in 1948 and worked at Holland Hospital for 35 years. She married Roger Bussies on March 17, 1950, and had two daughters.
Betty was a faithful member First Reformed Church of Holland, where many deep friendships were formed.
Betty was preceded in death by her Husband Roger; brother, Jack Tuinsma; Sister, Joan Kortering and in-laws; Ken and Genevieve Fenton, Angeline Brink.
Betty is survived by her daughters Karen and Gary Collins and Ellen and Craig Moes. Her grandchildren; Rachel and Josh Warsow, Steve and Kasey Collins, and Peter and Daysha Moes. Great-grandchildren Ethan and Ashton Warsow, Sawyer Moes, Celine Collinas. Sister; Connie DePond, Sister-in-law, Mary Tuinsma, and cousin Joyce Flanagan. Special friends Peggy and Dave Ebels.
A service will be held on Saturday, January 28th, at 11:00 am at Dykstra Mulder Chapel. The visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM, Burial will take place at Graafschap Cemetery.
