Ada Hochstetler, age 88 of Holland, passed Monday, January 16, 2023.
Ada Hochstetler was a loving patient mother of twelve who was very detail oriented, adventurous and loved gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; parents, Clarence and Polly Miller; 2 brothers, Elmer and Menno Miller; 2 sons, Alva and Tobias Hochstetler; son-in-law David Gingerich; 1 granddaughter and 3 great-grandchildren.
Ada is survived by her children, Ura (Barbara Lehman) Hochstetler, Lorine (David-deceased) Gingerich, Elmer (Esther Weaver) Hochstetler, Daniel (Leona Raber) Hochstetler, Elsie (Monroe Miller), (Alva Hochstetler-deceased) Elnora (Bontrager) Hochstetler, Manass (Wilma Yoder) Hochstetler, Clara (Michael Martin), David (Mary Wingard) Hochstetler, Mervin Hochstetler, (Tobias Hochstetler-Deceased) Carol (Gingerich) Hochstetler, and Wilbur Hochstetler (Joann Miller); 60 grandchildren and 111 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday (January 20) at Engedi Church, 710 Chicago Drive. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visitation will follow the service, at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
