MNNEAPOLIS, MN (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Michigan men’s basketball team blasted Minnesota 90-75 in their Big Ten opener in Minneapolis last night.
Junior center Hunter Dickinson led the way with 19 points and freshman guard Dug McDaniel added 15 points and seven assists in his first start for Michigan (6-3, 1-0 Big Ten). The Wolverines were coming off a defeat to Kentucky Sunday in London, England.
Tomorrow, Michigan State University hosts Brown, Central Michigan visits Tulsa, and Western Michigan hosts UIC. Eastern Michigan travels to face Niagara on Sunday.
