He served his country in the United States Army 89th Airborne. He worked at General Electric in Holland for 35 years and was a licensed Realtor. David loved his wife he called Patsy. He enjoyed golfing at his two golf courses, boating, sailing on Lake Michigan, working on old cars and bicycles, riding motorcycles, walks to the beach and sunsets. If he was sitting somewhere, he was most likely making paper airplanes for children around him. He lived life to the fullest and made many friends along the way, one astronomy question at a time.
