DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers are bringing back pitcher Matthew Boyd on a one-year contract.
Multiple reports say the deal is worth $10 million and is pending a physical. Boyd spent last season with the Giants and Mariners, but missed most of the year while recovering from flexor tendon surgery.
The lefty was with Detroit for seven seasons prior.
