Gybertus “Bert” Teunissen, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at American House of Holland.

Survivors include daughters Diana (Antonio) Navarrete of Mexico City, Mexico; Roberta (Aaron) Schwartz of Muskegon, MI; Patty (Joe) Holt of Zeeland, MI; and son Ronald Teunissen of Holland, MI; brother-in-law Stanley (Erma) Hillbrands of Lavern, MN; sisters-in-law Lucille Smit of Hull, IA and Hilda Hillbrands of George, IA; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jannus and Hendrika (Van Holland) Teunissen; his wife Vera (Hillbrands) Teunissen; brother Cornelius (Johanna) Teunissen; brother Henry (Dee) Teuniseen; and sister Jacoba (Wayne) Nagel.

Visiting hours will be held at Lakeshore Memorial Services – 11939 James St. Holland, MI 49424, on Thursday, December 1, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be at Lakeshore Memorial Services on Friday, December 2, at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at West Drenthe Cemetery. The family invites you to join them for a luncheon and fellowship following the service.
