Randy was born January 30, 1954, in Grand Rapids, to Otto and Betty (Zwak) Kamminga. Randy graduated from Calvin Christian High School in 1972. He married Beverly Kuiper on December 10, 1976. Randy and Bev are charter members of Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church, where Randy had served as a deacon and an elder. Randy retired from Gordon Food Service and he was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David Kamminga.
Randy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beverly, and their children and grandchildren: Jammie and Ben Boverhof (Joshua, David, Aaron) of Indiana, Kristie and Frank Van Baren (Payton, Aiden, Cohen, Eli) of Jenison, Chad and Paula Kamminga (Colton, Hunter, Wyatt, Austin) of Colorado; his siblings: Terry and Ellen Kamminga, Brian and Lori Kamminga, Lynne and Rob Huizinga; in-laws: Wanda Kamminga, Karyn and Chuck Porter, Ken and Karen Kuiper, Jim and Barb Kuiper, Don Kuiper, Larry Kuiper, Rob, and Deb Kuiper, Henry and Melissa Kuiper; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church, 7146 48th Avenue, Hudsonville MI 49426. Visiting hours will be 6-9 pm, Friday, at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464. Interment will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Christian School or Covenant Christian High School.
