She is survived by her children: Chuck and Gail Ter Haar, Shirts and Sherry Ter Haar, Elaine Smits, and Arch and Wilma Ter Haar; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Don Ter Haar, Brian and Julie Ter Haar (Brianna), Brad and Jen Ter Haar (Sammy and Ben), Troy and Jodi Ter Haar (Seth, Sydney, and Macie), Travis Ter Haar, Tanna and Scott Immink (Cole and Dayton), Sue and David Macauley (Gwen, Stephanie, and Catie), Kathy and Jerry Mulder (Marie and John Norder, Kurt, Nick, and Jaqueline), James and Kerri Sue Smits (Kylie, Conner, and Kierea), Todd and Mindy Ter Haar (Ryan, Andrew, and Rylee), and Carrie and Graham Merrill.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, her sons: Frederick Ter Haar and Don Ter Haar, and her son-in-law Jim Smits.
Ella was a member of Vriesland Reformed Church where she was active in the Willing Workers and the Sewing Guild, and she retired from Zeeland Community Hospital.
Visitation will be 11:30 am-12:45 pm Monday, November 7, 2022, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. The interment will be in Vriesland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland. www.yntemafh.com
