BUFFALO, NY (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings were torched for a season-high eight goals in an 8-3 loss to the Sabres in Buffalo.
Olli Maatta, David Perron, and Dylan Larkin all scored for Detroit, which slipped to 4-3-and-2 on the season.
The Red Wings return home to clash with the Washington Capitals Thursday.
