Grada Voetberg, age 94, passed away on October 17, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family, and went to be with her Lord & Savior.
Grada was born on January 02, 1928, to John A. and Jennie Broekhuis. Grada completed the 8th grade at Hawthorne School. She was employed at Holland Sewing Factory and Herman Miller Food Service. For over 40 years, Grada was a coordinator for Holland Christian School’s Catering Service, planning and preparing meals for company banquets and Tulip Time visitors. She was a 4-H leader and loved sewing and teaching others to sew. Grada was a member of Pine Creek CRC; currently is a member of Central Avenue CRC, and attended Pine Grove Community Church during the summer months.
Grada was preceded in death by her husband Henry on April 10, 2021, after 65 years of marriage. Also by her parents, sister Christal Broekhuis, and brother Alvin Broekhuis.

Grada is survived by her children Mary Jane & Gerry VandenBerg, Carol & Larry Redder, Betty Voetberg, and Dale Voetberg. Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Pamela & Greg Bos (Amber), Mark & Julie VandenBerg (Becca, Leah, Lydia, Abbie, Levi, Hannah), Eric & Amy VandenBerg (Caleb, Mason, Analeigh, Autumn, James), Doug & Michelle Redder (Lilly, Olivia, Freya), Melissa Redder (Austin, Addilynn), Sam Redder, Nick & Kendall Voetberg (Christopher), Tina Voetberg.
Grada is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Joyce & Ernest Kortering, in-laws Gerb & Lila Voetberg, and Stuart Westing, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 19, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Langeland Sterenberg, 315 E 16th St. Holland MI. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, at 10:00 AM, at Central Avenue CRC. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. I thoroughly enjoyed being a pastor to Grada and her husband, from 1993–1998. The resurrected Lord Jesus Christ is our great hope and comfort. May her family find peace in the gospel.
