UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 6, 2022) – It’s a festival weekend throughout the Lakeshore this weekend.
Zeeland’s week-long 175th Anniversary Celebration climaxes with the annual Pumpkinfest, which includes live music and food trucks on both Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as a parade through downtown on Saturday afternoon.
Holland’s Fall Fest has tulip plantings at Window on the Waterfront Park on both Friday and Saturday, the Fire Safety Parade down 8th Street to the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place on Friday evening, and pumpkin carvers both Friday and Saturday.
On Saturday, its two days of Oktoberfest in Douglas, according to organizer Liz Engel of Community Pride Douglas-Saugatuck.
A Saturday walking parade begins the festivities centered around Beery Field, with music, games and prizes.
