Della was a member of Park Christian Reformed Church and its Ladies Guild. She also volunteered at Holland Hospital and Evergreen Commons.
Della was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, in 1991.

Funeral services are planned for 11:00 am Friday, September 30, at Park Christian Reformed Church, 1496 W 32nd St., with Rev. Daniel Steen officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday, September 29, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland. Della’s family wishes to thank the staff at Resthaven for the excellent care their mom received while she was there. Memorial contributions may be made to Park Church and Resthaven Care Center.
