Lynelle Mulder

By Patty Vandenberg Sep 26, 2022 | 12:40 PM
Lynelle (Lubbers) Mulder, age 64, of Holland went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 23, 2022, after a battle with Parkinson’s disease and dementia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Lubbers, father, Harold Lubbers, step-mother, Lillian Lubbers, brother, Ronald Lubbers, brother-in-law, Robert Kalkman, mother-in-law, Myra Mulder, father-in-law, Donald Mulder, sister-in-law, Sandra Meiste, and sister-in-law, Donna Cooper. Lynelle is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Gary Mulder, her children and grandchildren, Alicia & Chris Zandstra (Eli and Lydia), and Nicole & Scott Baumgartner (Grace and Theodore); brothers and sisters Virginia Lubbers, Mary Kalkman, Harlan & Rosie Lubbers, Vernon & Marlene Lubbers, Marv & Connie Meiste, and Pat Cooper, along with many nieces and nephews.

Lynelle, an LPN nurse for her Holland community, spent almost 30 years working for Resthaven and caring for the elderly. Lynelle met Gary at Hamilton Community Schools and married in 1979. Lynelle selflessly gave her time to care for others around her. She loved having family and friends around, and her four grandchildren were her pride and joy. Lynelle was a faithful servant of the Lord. She loved her church family at Providence deeply for the last 33 years and was often the first one others would reach out to for lunch or to talk on the phone. Lynelle will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We are so grateful to know that she is healed and has now won the race meeting her Father in heaven.

Visitation for Lynelle will be held on Monday, September 26, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Providence CRC 821 Ottawa Ave. Holland MI 49423. The funeral service will be at Providence CRC at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Interment at Graafschap Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Resthaven Care Community in Holland.

Arrangements by Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland MI 49423. www.langelandsterenberg.com
